Scalp psoriasis (Sebopsoriasis) is a plaque disease which affects the scalp skin that leads to red lesions linked by powdery silvery scale. Scalp psoriasis is skin disease that shows white patches on the scalp due to inflammation caused by over growth of the skin cells on the scalp that unfold on the far side the scalp to the forehead and around the ears. Scalp psoriasis is often confused with other skin problem likes Sedopsoriasis and Pityriasis Amiantacea that shows up just like scalp psoriasis.
Thinning hair and dandruff don't share the same cause. Thinning hair, of course, is about your hair. Dandruff is actually about the skin on your scalp, not your hair. The most visible symptom is the flakes themselves that can be seen on the scalp, in the hair and sometimes on people’s shoulders. These can vary in size, from small and fine to larger clumps.
